CS3 is compatible, but CS and CS2 isn't "officially" supported if I remember.
Adobe have been telling customers to upgrade to CS3 is they want to run Vista.

However, I have run CS2 on Vista without any issues, and if I remember correctly, CS(1) is also reported to "work".

Re: Is Photoshop CS compatible with Windows Vista?

I'm running CS2 on Vista with no problems.
It's worth noting that Vista uses a hell of a lot of Ram so 2gig or more is recommended.

Re: Is Photoshop CS compatible with Windows Vista?

Yeah the laptop i am after has 2 gig of ram already and is upgradable to 4 gig, if i remember rightly.

Thanks for the help. I ran the vista upgrade advisor and it didn't find a problem with my copy of CS so in theory it should be OK.

Re: Is Photoshop CS compatible with Windows Vista?

I bought a new lappy with Vista on it.
It had so many problems I downgraded the OS to XP.
It has no problems now and works perfectly.

So good luck, you'll need it.

Re: Is Photoshop CS compatible with Windows Vista?

my copy of CS3 Extended works on Vista Business and Ultimate.

They're were problems last year when Vista was released, but everything seems to have been rectified by both parties.
