Kew Gardens Yesterday

Took the kids down to Kew Gardens yesterday.

Havent been there for 15years....hasnt changed a bit...

Thought I would try out my new canon 40d and 18-250mm lens.

Here's some photos i took

Nice shot of the green house. I didn't know about the birds of prey in Kew. Was that a one off thing for the Bank Holiday?

Not at all. I think it's hilarious. Saw a stork eat a baby flamingo at a bird place once. Sad but kind of funny watching the reactions.

i used a circular polariser filter on the greenhouse photo.....but i agree it is a little dark considering it was a lovely bright day.

still playing around with the settings of my new toy....
