I figure go for the best one you want that you can afford. I was looking to get the 450D from 7dayshop for £529, but that code gets it for around the £490 mark from digital-cameras. That is a big enough difference to make me consider them. Would be a lot easier if anyone had any previous experience with them. Have never heard of them myself so looking to see what their reputation is like.

Fingers crossed on the quad front. Have you visited the Rangers thread on these forums?

Just ordered the 5D AND the 24-105mm IS L lens...if it all works out, the total cost comes in at just £1214!

Here's the breakdown..

Their (delivered) price after 123 promotion code discount - £1522.99

less 1% credit card (egg) cashback - £1409.75
less £195 Canon voucher cashback - £1,214

Bearing in mind the 24-105mm L sells for about £600 even on Ebay, this means the 5D is effectively just costing me about £615!!!

does anyone know if the cashback applies to the Canon 400D body only, or is the kit lens + body included?

The list has a body only, but the online claim form seems to list both.
