I've not been hit by tax when I ordered from them

Same here.
Someone else here has been stung for VAT before, but they got their refund without difficulty. I can't recommend OSD enough.

I didn't even know it was a HK based company until after I ordered my lens, not that it would have stopped me. It was despatched yesterday and seems as if I will receive that before my camera from Dixons.
I paid by direct bank transfer as opposed to paypal and they game me a further £2.20 discount too.
Quote from despatch e-mail: Quote:
It normally takes 5-8 working days to arrive to most destinations, but delays sometimes do happen due to customs clearance, so please be patience. If you do not receive your package after 3 weeks, please email us, and we will ask Hong Kong Post to investigate.
Thank you very much for your purchase. Please note that we cannot be blamed or held responsible for any delay. If you are contacted by the courier company regarding customs issue, please do not hesitate to contact us for advice.

I have used them on three separate occasions and can thoroughly recommend them.

This has also been covered many times before BTW. Do a forum search. You'll find the same answers time and again.

I have just (tuesday) received my first order from onestop-digital.
Item arrived within one week of order, and no problem with any requirement to pay VAT. As has been stated above, they do promise to refund any customs charges.
