TZ3 damaged :(

Dropped our 3 week old TZ3 on Holiday (in a submarine of all places!)
Its working fine apart from the dust shutters sticking when opening/closing as its the end of the lense that took the hit. Its just rippled the thin metal outer ring.

Worth sending to be repaired ?

Cheers,

Co.

Ahoy!

My guess is that, yes send it off, but you're gonna get a bill as it isn't a manufacturing defect or fault, and that it would be subject to wheter it's repairable or not.

Have you checked your holiday insurance small print? It sounds on the face of it that unless you can blag this one, it might be the subject of some air rifle target practice unless you're prepared to live with it as it.

Cheers Pirate, I'll give them a ring to see if its going to be worth repairing if not I'll try & ease out the dented part thats making the dust cover stick.
