My lads birthday pressie

I've been riding in trials for a number of years now, just getting properly back into it recently. My eldest has been expressing a rather keen interest in riding the saturday schoolboy trials. Was his 8th b'day last monday. Had this in the garage for him coming home from school

Brilliant. He must be over the moon! I would have been!
Better get practising your panning technique for the races

Re: My lads birthday pressie

Aye his face was a picture. He was genuinely gobsmacked.

I opened the garage door as we were pulling on to the drive, his jaw just fell open when he saw it there all covered in ballons and stuff.

Happy Days

Re: My lads birthday pressie

Lucky boy, the best I could do at 8 was to attach a card to my push bike's wheel and pretend it was a motorbike .

I assume this is for foot up trials, so photos should be fairly easy as it must be the slowest form of motorsport invented, they spend a lot of time balancing dead still.

Cool! How much fun is that. I'll bet he loves it.

You should get a properly fitting helmet though - his face will be mush if he lands on it with the helmet leaning that far back.

Thats right, but we ride no stop rules a lot of the time. Still wont be needing to do much panning though

Practise day tomorrow, he's a little excited
