First Manual Shot

I found an old monopod in the study, so i thought i`d have a first try at manual settings and took a shot from my front door (as it was raining) Not the best subject matter i know.

All i have done to it is a bit of sharpening and "D Lighting" (what ever that is).

AS usual all and any comments, good, bad or ugly are much appreciated

Re: First Manual Shot

That's a good first attempt I like having the guy in the picture, kind of "What on earth just drove past"

I like D-Lighting it's very good at bringing back detail from a picture that's underexposed.

Re: First Manual Shot

Thanks Dazza

There is a nice church up the road where my daughter goes to brownies that`s always lit up at night. I was going to try shooting that, but it was down with rain tonight
