Canon sensor clean under warranty.

Don't know if this is common knowledge or not,but you are entitled to one free sensor clean at a Canon approved service centre,if your camera is still covered under its one year warranty.(400d at least, dont know about others)
I have just got mine back today all clean and shiny and free

Would be interested to know that as well... Do you just drop it in to a service centre? My 400D is about 8 months old, and though I've had no problems with dust/dirt it may as well have a full going over if it's free

Re: Canon sensor clean under warranty.

Well I sent mine off, maybe I am mistaken when I say ANY Canon service centre,Im not sure, but certainly the ones stated on their website.

I used this company and they were excellent.

Colchester Camera Repair Service
6 Kings Court | Newcomen Way | Severalls Business Park | Colchester | CO4 9RA

Phone: 01206 84-33-22
Fax: 01206 84-33-23
Email: enquiries@camera-repair.co.uk
Web: www.camera-repair.co.uk

Sent Saturday, returned Friday, well boxed and with quite a bit of communication via email, they got back very quickly every time.I recommend.
Used Special Delivery which cost £6,return postage is covered by Canon/dealer.
Hope this helps.
