Early start

After getting up at 4 am leaving at 5 am for a car rally in Inverness all thoughts of it not being worthwhile were quickly dispelled when approaching Inverness the sun was rising.
I have to say If I could have stopped about 1 mile further south the rise was stunning, coming between 2 mountains. Unfortunately there were no nearby parking spots, the road was signed as a clearway so couldnt stop.

This was pretty much the first pic out of my D300 and 17-55 F2.8. These are straight out of the camera.
