Woodland wildlife today

Wildlife of the Fast kids on Bikes type.
MY shots from my day at the nature reserve yesterday haven't been downloaded fromt he card yet so I Thought I would post these

Beautiful day up on Wooler common. Great racing again from the Team CHR lads and visitors.
Shame my shots aren't as good as the last time, but thats what youy get for experimenting and trying to inject a feeling of speed into the shots instead of just freezing the riders. When it worked it was great when it didn't well you learn by your mistakes.

The Winner Again!

Re: Woodland wildlife today

Nothing wrong with these. The second is a cracker - great feeling of speed and danger. My only criticism would be your choice of position - the tape on the trees in the background is a little distracting.

Great stuff though!

Re: Woodland wildlife today

Thanks Mate.
I know what you mean about the tape, however it's damn tight up there with not a lot of 'safe' sapce to set-up I even had to use the 10-20 I was that close

Re: Woodland wildlife today

I really like this set. From the feeling of speed to the more thoughtful B&W ones and the timing of the last one is perfect (Love the expression on his face to).

If you can't vary your position due to the safe areas, could you vary your height? Perhaps a lower angle on some may add something? I've never tried this though so it may not add anything - may be worth a try though.

Enjoyed looking at them.

Cheers.

You've no idea how close I came to getting a 50/1.8 full of fizz on that last shot, only fear got me out of the way quick enough

Re: Woodland wildlife today

#2 is a great shot, really captures the speed without blurring the subject too much. Well done! I imagine this takes quite a bit of courage too with them flying past you and your expensive gear
