Steve's images from last week looked really good and inspired me. I decided to have a go today as by chance the sun was falling nicely at my location. Not as nice as Steve's as these are sans river. Just a quick levels edit to create the foreground. I think these would look nice printed. The spec on the second is a little birdy, decided to leave it in.
And one other shot. Could be Canada or OZ, but is in fact 5 mins from my door.

Love the second one Pete, beaks most of the compositional rules but works beautifully, great colours too. I'd say that is a wall hanger

Steve is no doubt a worthy man...Of that Im with you and Pete no one on here doubts your abilities but "A tribute" .. Do you mind if I change the thread title to " inspired by".. Steve is still with us alive and kicking!!
