Down By The Quayside (4x images)

Ahoy!

Something of a nautical theme with these images. Took Mrs Pirate! and eldest granddaughter out for a spell. Also the Alpha A100 and Sigma 55-200mm DC (walkabouter).

All these images are the JPEG versions, and (apart from resizing with FastStone) are 'out of the can'. No pp at all (though I have pp'd the RAW's).

Nothing to set the World on fire, but hope you like just the same.

Don't you find the 55-200 a little limiting as a walkabout lens? These are nice - but I can't help feeling that something a little wider would be more useful.

I just wanted to take one lens. I had in mind to take the Minolta 28-85mm, but you never know if you'll need the wider angle or the extra zoom. It was the right choice, but yes, I would've liked more width. It was a nice walk none-the-less and a few frames fired to boot.

£29.00 for a brand-new lens. Remember, these are lowest grade JPEG.
