A bit of American Football
A few from today - first football since last Nov. Far to cold to be shooting in and one of the downsides of last years operations on my chest is that I really feel the cold in my chest now - felt like my nipple was going to fall off, so did a bunk at half time!!!
All shot on the Mark III with a Canon 300mm F2.8L lens.

Nice set of pics as usual Pete, my favourite is actually the no-action one, no.4, what len were you using for that ?
Have still got to upgrade my kit but looking to change my car at present so have had to put it on the back burner.

agreed - that bokeh is so silky I just wanna touch it or make a sheet out of it and sleep with it.

Re: A bit of American Football
Yep - I like the off-action shots as well. Very nice altogether especially considering the flat light. Top lens too!

Re: A bit of American Football
Very apt considering the Superbowl is tonight
Stunning shots every one, you almost feel as if you could be in the action. Silky silky shots
