1st December 2007 - Morning and evening

Evening all as Sergeant Dixon used to say.

Was out on Saturday around Sudbury, first few are a quiz, this is a nice wooden gate in town,

the following three after that are various crops from the original, which is best ?

Gate 1

Gate 2

or Gate 3

Saw this next one on the wall of the house with the gate, its painted a nice deep red and the streetlamp was reflected quite spookily

4

5 - Popped back out after dark to see the lights

6

7 - Large glass display, probably cost a fortune

Finally a couple of detail shots from my old Slick Master tripod, am getting fed up with the cheap tripod I bought from 7 Day Shop, can never get the head in the right position, this old one is superb but the knurled its you have to loosen to extend the legs are getting a bit difficult to turn - anyone any ideas ?

Met a fellow forum member on Sunday who lives very close to me (about 60 yards away in fact) hopefully we will be out on a joint adventure soon.

Bill

not keen on any of the gate shots - very little texture to them - but no 6 is really really nice
