Is this a good portrait lens?

Saw this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PENTAX-SMC-50m...QQcmdZViewItem
now on my K10D this would become a 75mm f1.4 wouldnt it? great for portraits and great price, or am I missing something. Anyone using one?

Re: Is this a good portrait lens?

Sounds ideal although I don't know anything about Pentax lenses. Pirate is your man for that.

Anyway, it's cheaper from here.

Much appreciated that link. Seems it has weaknesses at fully open apertures, f5.6 described as exl. great price though and they tested the lens on a K10d as well. cheers mate.
