Some Recent Football Photos

i've not posted any pics in a long while so here are a few of my recent football photos(not quite bristol pete,not that it's possible in my case), these where taken on my first outing with the nikon 70-300mm VR lens, as usual all comments appreciated

FWIW, I tried my hand at this very thing recently and it's harder than it seems! On a more constructive note, images appear sharp but the colours look odd (on my screen) particularly the facial ones. Maybe I need to go to Specsavers . . again!

Can't compete with Bristol Pete (hey that rhymes), so keep plugging away. I also find myself 'behind the action' for reasonable close shots.

can you be more specific about what you mean about the colouring particularly on the faces, as it looks ok on my monitor, or if anyone else is seeing what pirate is could you let me know
