Great collection.
Its amazing how we "ignore" every day scenes which turn out so right when photographed.

I should get "Seeing Creativley" by Martin Evening

I am amazed no one else posted this. It was quite strange having the moon out at around 9am this morning

Someone else did. Me! I went outside to photo the cloud formation, not a strong formation but pleasant, I noticed the moon & there it is. Both were hand held with my Canon Eos 400D & Sigma 18-200 OS lens.

Blue Moon

Whispering Cloud

Oh, & these were taken at 8.32... so beat you.

Thanks very much for the comment. Did I say that I own a bridge camera, not bad for something with a fixed lens.

Currently trying to talk myself into a 40D As live few has changed my view regarding how I would use a dslr, my sony has an expanded focus option that when used with manual focus gives you extra detail and better focus, it zooms into the image for you and shows you that on the lcd. Its like a cheap live view.

I also want a camera with a grid overlay, I know its a strange request. But I have found it to be the best thing I know the d80 has this, but as the canon is currently £600ish it does tick all the boxes

Who are you trying convince PP, you know you want it, you know you deserve it, you know you need it and you know you cant contemplate a worthwhile future without it.

Go buy it, you know it makes sense
