The 40D is coming down in price (even FREE at Play.com)

Just had a look at CameraPriceBuster and the price of a 40D has just dipped.

Its free here : http://www.play.com/Electronics/Elec...tml?P36=6EEWTX and if you dont believe me, then look at the image i have attached.

But after you add it to your basket it totals to £749.99

The cheapest now is Martins Camera at £730, and a few others have dropped recently. Not more so than OneStop-Digital who now have it for £650 and even with the cashback and Quidco discount from Jessops thats £30 cheaper than anywhere.

True the web site still says it's going for zilch.

Add it to your basket though, check out and suddenly your basket weighs in at a hefty 749 beer tokens... pity.

[EDIT] - only just now seen your small print lol.

I dont think so, as it has to be a UK dealer, but if its only from the invoice then im sure i could get it. £600 for a 40D is unbelievable.

I think play.com has melted today, everything is free.

I've been keeping an on 40D prices too. Cash is waiting when I feel prices are as low as they are going to go. Given the RRP is £900 I can't see them getting much lower although with the long run up to Xmas still to come it is possible they'll dip below £700 without discounts. What does everyone else think?

I doubt they will go that low when the £50 cashback is still in place.
In the New Year they will go down, but will be a while before they gt as low as you can get with the cashback.
