Smile Fancy a Ferry Ride

Just got these pics from my wifes American cousin in Washington State, taken by his friend @ 300mm and hand held, the cars that were at the back of the ferry were washed into the middle.

Its one of the local ferries that cross the inland waterway along Puget Sound
Near Seattle.
I have been on these ferries but it was nice and calm then, these were taken a week ago in a storm blowing 50mph winds

Whoah - looks rather bad doesn't it. Nice sharp pics though.

Re: Fancy a Ferry Ride

Looks very dangerous to me....seems slightly foolhardy to be working in those conditions.

Re: Fancy a Ferry Ride

That reminds me of the many times I traveled to England via boat from Belfast. Up out of the water and then crash back into it. The sick bucket

I can never understand how they don't just topple over.
