We spent Saturday afternoon at Beth Chatto's gardens near Colchester, in the hope of capturing some autumn colour. The light proved to be a complete washout (sun came out as we were driving home)

, but I got a few shots that I'm reasonably happy with. It's a macro shooters paradise btw, as there are not only lots of spectacular plants, but the insect population has to be seen to be believed in high summer.
