Nikon View NX - a handy little freebie

OK I know "Nikon" and "freebie" are words you do not normally is in a positive comtext in the same sentence, but here is an exception to that rule. You can downlead this application from:

http://nikonusa.com/software/viewnx/...NX100NSAEN.exe

Of course it does not give you the functionality of Capture NX, but if you shoot in RAW it does give you some useful functions to organise and peform basic functions to your photos (rename, convert format, resize etc).

It is obviously aimed at Nikon users, bit will work with any graphic files so as it is free, why not give it a go. (Of course it does contain a hidden macro to destroy anything from a Canon...)

Regards

John

Re: Nikon View NX - a handy little freebie

If this is like the old NikonView program then that is very interesting - NikonView doesn't work very well with my D80's files but when I had my D50 it was great as a front-end browser for Capture NX.

Will have to have a looksy tonight - cheers.

Re: Nikon View NX - a handy little freebie

A bit different from Nikon View from what I can recall, I did not use it much. This works great with my NEF files from the D80.

Good Luck

John
