Cheap and cheerful Tripods?

Much as I would like to spend wedges of cash on a nice light sturdy Carbon Fibre Manfrotto it ain't going to happen.

Would anyone care to recommend a cheap and cheerful tripod which is fairly sturdy light and works

I noticed a couple of £30ish quid jobs in Jacobs which look ok, but I've no real experience of Tripods so I bow to the greater knowledge
