1st HDR attempts and a few from the last week

Haven't had much chance to get out with the camera recently due to weather and being busy.

Here are a couple of HDR attempts from today, nothing OTT. Composition of the pics aren't great with the horizon being in the centre but I just wanted to get a couple of pics at -2,0,+2 to give this HDR a bash! Both taken with the 10-22 - apart form the HDR no other pp done

1)

2)

3) A quick snap of my little one with my new 50mm 1.4 - She wouldn't smile until I put the camera down

4) Just playing with the 10-22. Hardly been out with it due to it chucking it down most weekends I just love the wideness of it

5) A couple form today with my 17-70. Happened to see a life boat being launched

6)

A few from our village festival. shame about the weather as it was very overcast and raining. Had to use at least ISO400 to keep the shutter speed up to anything decent

7)

8)

9)

10)

Not a great set but hope to have more opportunties to get out more over the coming weeks.

Re: 1st HDR attempts and a few from the last week

Make it 2 comments then

Your little one typifies most of our little ones.. they know when to start smiling.. just when you put the camera down
Don't knock the picture though it is a very nice one even if the smiles were kept for later!

The HDR images are well done ( not "in your face") but you can tell they are HDR
I guess the subject is also a bit desolate . !
The motor bike and car Images are part of a story I guess a few more would show the event with a bit more broadness but there is nothing wrong with the images.. just that it seems that one is walking in towards the end of a TV sitcom

Nice little collection ..I must say, the life boat does seem a bit small in the whole image to generate any great interest in it as the main subject
But thanks for sharing.. Keep your coat in the hall way for now!
PS: I got the DVD thanks

should have cropped it more or used a bigger zoom sometimes i feel my 17-70 isn't long enough at the telephoto end for a walkabout for me personally. 105mm would be nice
