Thanks: Gave 16, Got 30 | (Yet Another) Summer Storm yesterday
Here we go again, another summer storm is ready to hit the UK. This was last night on the Heritage Coast at Ogmore-by-Sea. I coudn't believe how cold it was for an August evening, blowing a gale and showers. But I set the camera up to try and get a very interesting sky. However the four second exposure allowed a lot of salt spray to land on the polariser but in this case I think it adds to the drama of the image. |

That is just brilliant. What a top photo. Well done indeed. I'd crop out the foreground rocks though, or have more of them showing if pos. Bloody super colours though.
All you need now is a guy in a suit, bowler hat, umbrella and briefcase to be standing on that rock in the middle and you've got your competition entry.

super pic, the contrast of the colours are very dramatic
agree with tobers that you should slightly crop it to remove the foreground rocks

Great shot - really liek the colours and dramatci sky. I'll echo the comments about the foreground rocks.
I went out last night after seeing this sky, but after settling the baby and driving down to the seafront the light had gone over. Came back with an empty card
Seeing shots like this makes me want to get out there again. |

Really lovely.
It's the orangey catchlights in the rocks that turn this from great to outstanding for me.
I'd echo the comments already made about the crop along the bottom edge.
That's being picky though - wish I could take a photo like this
