A while ago I bought a 24-70 f/2.8 and 70-200 f/2.8 IS. At the time I decided against selling the 100-400 as I was sure I would miss it. After all this time I've decided I probably won't miss it as I haven't used it in a long time, strapped it on this weekend and changed it straight out for the 70-200.
So anyway my question is, what would the 100-400mm f/4.5 - 5.6 IS L be worth? I also have a 100mm f/2.8 Macro to lose too, I would be replacing them both with a 180mm f/3 Macro L & 1.4x TC.
depending on how old the 100-400 and condition of it, it should hold it's value quite well. Cheapest in the uk is £999 and one stop digital are £840. I'd maybe list it at £780.
I'm sure you could get £270-300 for the 100mm macro as well
Have a look on POTN and flea bay to see what they go for to get an idea first
yeah, thanks for letting me know, will leave it though as cash a bit tight and its only about £65 cheaper than one-stop digital, thought i'd let you know in here rather than damage the for sale thread.
anyway thanks again will be buying one at some point.
