Another insect!

Nice one! It looks like you're limited by your hardware though (I assume that's heavily cropped, looking at the noise). Time to treat yourself to a macro lens?

Nice sharp capture of a Hoverfly, although, as Yandros mentioned, could do with running through a noise filter.
You should really think about getting a macro lens. The Tamron 90mm macro is highly recommended and good VFM (£200 from Onestop Digital). They make nice sharp portrait lenses as well (as do most macro lenses).

I would love to get a macro lens but as a fixed income pensioner my spending days are over. Lol
