Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ2 opinions

Hi there guys. Im looking to buy a digital camera and i have pretty much decided on this on but i would like some opinions on it.
Also would it be better to buy the pack which incudes mem card, bag and spare battery or just buy the camera on its own and buy the accesories later?

Thanks

If you don't mind the auto only control, the TZ2/3 is a great camera with a huge zoom range in a tiny package.

For the small price difference, you would be better getting the TZ3 which has similar IQ but a bigger LCD and other extra features.

Re: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ2 opinions

I saw the TZ3 alright but i wasnt sure if it was worth the extra bucks. Do you think that it would be worth going for it though?
Thanks for your comments so far.

Re: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ2 opinions

I think that the TZ3 is massively outselling the TZ3 simply based on user numbers and comments over on DPReview.

The main differences are the larger screen on the TZ3 (which is useful in 16:9 mode as the image doesn't use all the screen), the auto exposure bracketing which is useful on a camera that is auto only, a zoom facility when reviewing pictures and burst mode which allows a number of frames at 3FPs (useful for sports).

Re: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ2 opinions

Sounds interesting. I have the burst feature on my phone andit is very usefull for sports so I will have to seriously consider the TZ3 now
