Nice shot - good balanced exposure and interesting composition.

Re: Liver Building

Nice one John. Sound.
I did a series of shots of the three graces a couple of years ago which were alright. Did you get any shots of the Cunard building or Port of Liverpool?
I keep wanting to find the time to go with the new camera and just hang around the Pier Head area, there's loads to snap. Maybe go on the ferry for the ubiquitous riverfront shot. Usually just have enough time to call in on family though. I think I need to plan it secretly.

Re: Liver Building

Good one. I like the positioning of the statue against the building.

Re: Liver Building

Agree with the above - especially well done on the exposure.

Cheers.

Hi, it’s a bit chaotic on the waterfront as there is major construction work going on, a new canal. So you are quite limited on getting a reasonable shot. You can read about it here.

It should be great, depending on your point of view, and quite different once it’s finished.

Re: Liver Building

Looks like he's trying to put the crown/wreath (whatever it is?) on the liver bird!

Great photo John.
