Need help on new compact camera purchase!

Hello!

Looking to upgrade my current compact camera and undecided on the models below:

Nikon L5
Panasonic LZ3
Canon A550

Reasons for shortlisting these models:
Need a decent optical zoom
SD compatible
Will take AA batteries
Looking to spend £150-£200

So has anyone had any experience with this lot or anyone got any other suggestions?
I would be grateful for any help

I'm really thinking of getting the Canon A710 IS.
Review here: http://www.steves-digicams.com/2006_reviews/a710.html and you can get it for about £175! Sounds pretty good to me.

My canon powershot s50 takes ace pictures. I cannot fault it.

It has more functions than I will ever need.

It's now updated to the s60.
