Samsung s850 audio

Hi there
ive just been to a music concert and recorded most of it using the cameras 800 x 600 video mode.
i know the microphone is mono and naturally expected poor audio quality but what i need help on is 2 things:

1 can the audio at live events be improved upon with any helpful tips from you knowledgeable people ?

2 can the audio once recorded in a poor state be edited using software and if so whats the best one available ? (freeware if possible)
