Thanks: Gave 181, Got 220 | My 1st attempt using Photostitch !
Only problem is that alot of the detail is lost when shrinking the image down !
Anyway, this was the sunset over Stoke tonight .............
Any advice for future attempts welcomed, thanks.

Nice one - I'll have to try some of these as you guys seem to be getting excellent results.

Thanks for the comments guys, I was inspired to have a go by others which have been shown on here ..........
Just a shame that Stoke is so flat and bereft of tall buildings !

Any advice for future attempts welcomed, thanks. | Do you mean detail in the post or after the stitch. Stitch output settings can be altered.
Nice shot BTW.

| It was when reducing the image in PS. I tried all combination of settings but the quality always seemed to suffer no matter what ...............

Great shot macker2006. Lovely sky. Top stuff, especially for your 1st try. Any chance of a link to a larger image?

One small issue is that you've over-exposed the sky a bit in the top left. But this is almost impossible to avoid as keeping a perfect exposure across the pano is difficult. But still a great 1st attempt - will look forward to seeing more.

Yes, I noticed that but trying to correct it just seemed to make that end look even worse ! Looking back, maybe I should have cropped it a little shorter to remove it ........
