Going through a dry patch :(

So it's been a while since I took (let alone) posted any photos on here. The last few months have all been a bit of a blur with one thing or another... I know I've only been into photography for 9 months but boy am I missing it ...

Time to give myself a kick up the arse and get back into it ..

Nige

Re: Going through a dry patch :(

It's good to hear that you are gonna give yourself a kick Nige.

I went through the same thing last year. I did about 15 weddings and to be honest I was just sick of photography. Towards Christmas I decided not to actively seek any more weddings (although I still have 5 booked this year without even advertising).

Anyway... long story short I'm now taking photos that I want to take and enjoying it a lot more. Not doing so many weddings has allowed me time to explore new techniques and well... relax.

How about concentrating on a particular style you want to develop and do some of those? As soon as you get a handful of good results you'll be back on track.

Looking forward to seeing some of your results.
