Get myself a new Lens today :D

Hi All

Got myself a new lens today :D

I took the canon 28 - 135 lens back as wanted wider lens and did not like the wobble on it.

SOOOOO

Got my self a Canon 17 - 40 L lens hope I made the right choice :D as i mainly do lanscape pictures and am going on the coast tmr to take some pictures with it.

Hope It a great lens

It gets great reviews. I thought of one myself but am going for the 28mm 1.8 prime instead. I've got a 17-85 already but the 17-40 is certainly a well build bit of kit.

although
I think the costlier EF-S 17- 55 f 2.8 IS USM is even better. Good thing about lenses ( especialy quality one like the 17-40 L ( I worry about the f4 TBH) is that they keep thier value if you want to sell them

I did think about that but I wanted a EF lens as i think once finish my course going to get a canon 1D Mark III hopin this lens does fit.

I am learning still so went for the 400d as when i get good and the like I get a 1D or what ever i decide to go for the 400d will be a backup cam
