Ok,everyone goes through the batch of images and the end of a days shooting and comes across some stinkers.
I have always pressed the delete button and never given them a second thought.
So bourne out of bordom,I thought I would let loose with artistic license and try to make something out of a "nothing" shot.
These wernt really very good shots, but after a tinker I actually quite like them.
The idea here Guys... is artistic impression.....so no need to comment on the technical side.
What you think of my salvage operation so far. The only way is up

I always think it's worth checking through your old shots, I've done the same many times and found ways to process old shots that I thought were unusable.
Those are nice shots vulkan.

The original:
This was one of those could have been images.
The reworked - I know the frame is a bit off, just something I did this morning in a few mins.

Great recoveries there Vulkan and pixelpixel
To be honest I like all of them. I like #1 best.
I never really delete any shots I've taken. I just archive them away on my external hard drive and eventually a DVD. There has been the odd time I've went back and played with a shot to try and salvage it, but I normally scrap my efforts and do something else.
@ pixelpixel. Where did you get that border? I quite like it. It isn't the Andreas borders ones is it because it looks different.

Yourself? What drew it or scanned it from an old polaroid exposure?
It's very good and I do sometimes use these borders to add a nostalgic feel to photos that I feel need it.
Thanks for attaching the border though. I've saved it and will probably use it one day if that's ok.

The One click wow books from elements and Photoshop have cds with a loads of effects for layers , frames and enough really to keep you from needing to make new ones for a long time
