'Advanced search - Search by seller' turns up:
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Emilyandlil...enameZL2QQtZkm
Which looks to be the right people, near 20k feedback looks good but with 183 neutrals and 23 negatives in the last month doesn't look good

The total feedback is actually (a staggering) 200K !!!
So overall I'd say their feedback looks very good. Even with the 200 neutral/negatives for this month it's still less than 2% ..... (the negatives being about 0.2%).
However, I wouldn't like to guarantee that you wouldn't be one of the 2%

Wow, you're right
I'd say from the 11k+ sales this month with 200 people not 100% happy isn't too bad I guess. I would still read all the neg's and neutrals to get a feel of them and it all depends on the price at the end of the day.

Re: has anyone bought from emilyandlilly on ebay?
Yes, just bought a Canon Powershot G7 at a 'buy it now' price of £219+p&p. The fact that it was factory refurbished and carried only a 3 month guarantee did not appear in the panel of information immediately below the EBAY advert, but was secreted among many many pages of supplementary technical information .... a long way down the scroll bar.
They did not actually conceal the information, but they didn't go out of their way to reveal it either. SO... 'buyer beware', read every word on every line of every page and work on the principle that if it looks too good to be true ... then it probably is. I don't think that these people are actually crooks, they do a lot of business and the proportion of complaints is relatively small, but they are business folk first and foremost and are most definitely NOT a charity organisation. If in doubt 'ask seller a question'.
So ... I'm going to work my G7 very hard for a couple of months! Hope this helps.

For the most part if anyone is selling something new they plaster it all over the title and at the top of the description so that you can't miis it. If they havn't done that you can be pretty sure that it isn't new, as in your purchase.
You can see this to great effect from this seller, where the stuff they do sell is new they make sure you are in no doubt about it where it isn't the refurb bit is hidden way down the bottom.
Rule No. 1 "if it doesn't say NEW in the title or on the first page of the description it probably isn't"
Rule No. 2 "if it does say NEW and the seller is clearly a private individual. The chances are they are lying or something else is dodgy"

Re: has anyone bought from emilyandlilly on ebay?
I have never bought from them, although I have recently looked quite extensively into all of the different options on eBay. A couple of things I would like to point out, as said previously, is that the camera's they sell are manufacturer refurbished, which is very well hidden in the item description. A little naughty I think as they class it as new in the spec section, and their is an option of refurbished.
Secondly, all the camera's are American, which from reading other forums, don't seem to be as good as the UK models (I am comletely new to this, so i can't tell you how they differ, but I am sure someone else on here can).
I just bought the Canon 400D EOS from Jessops. I opted to get it from a high street shop rather then online so I can have the security of a proper 12 month warranty. Emilyandlilly's 400D is the American version, the 400D Rebel XTi, so again, I don't know where you stand with the warranty as it is a foreign model meant for the US market. I would also imagine that the plugs on the charges etc would all be foreign.
I would be very careful with buying on eBay, as quite a large percentage of them seem to be refurbished.
On a plus point with Emilyandlily, there lenses seem to be brand new and not refurbished.

Re: has anyone bought from emilyandlilly on ebay?
I ordered a Nikon SB-600 Speedlight from them yesterday.
It is claimed to be brand new in retail box and lists the contents which are the same as those sold in the UK.
I've just re-checked the description and can't find any hidden small print.
I'll report again when it arrives.

A friend of mine keeps bidding on various Panasonic FZ18s' that tend to go for around £210 to £220 typically.
He is hoping to get one for around the £200 mark so hasn't won one yet.
He had queried a couple of points with them:
1, Why is no AC charger cable is show among the contents.
2, Why is the FZ18 picture actually showing an FZ3.
Their response to the 1st query was "All the contents are as shown in the description". I told him it was probably because it is a US site so the original cable wouldn't be compatible.
They claim that the goods are located and sent from Nottingham though.
They didn't respond to his 2nd query although further down the page they do show the FZ18.
I've just checked one of their FZ18 Here
I can't find any hidden refurbished claims in the description but if I've missed something please let me know.

Re: has anyone bought from emilyandlilly on ebay?
If been looking at the Canon dSLR's with a view to purchasing a 400d. I saw that website and looked it through, and decided against - main reason was that with a careful bit of investigation, I could get what I wanted at roughly the same price from other non-Ebay sites.
With a a bit of waiting and checking, checking and waiting, I have just ordered the camera with 18-55mm lens for what I hope will turn out to be £333.09 (after Canon rebate), from Dixons online, of all places, from a 'book' price of £429.99. I can't remember the exact pricing of the EandL deals, but think it was similar in this instance (i'm at work, so can't check Ebay pages).
If you're after a camera - check elsewhere IMO, make sure you get a new and UK model, especially with UK-based rebates (Nikon have also just announced a rebate scheme for the D40/40x/80 models IIRC).
Good luck!

I bought a Canon 28-135 IS from them - stunning price compared to, for example, Jessops. Took a few days to be delivered but nothing unusual. I was very, very pleased.

Re: has anyone bought from emilyandlilly on ebay?
I got the FZ7 (Refurb) off them in february for £110 and had no trouble with it at all it came with 3 months warrenty and i figured that if anything were to be faulty it would proberbly show up in that time.
All in all very nice camera, great pictures for not much outlay, you pays your money and takes your choice.
