Which A3 A3+ printer

Ok guys the questions just keep coming.

Having bought the Canon 350D with 18 to 55mm and a 75 to 300mm lens I an now turning my attention to a printer

I fancy an A3 A3+ printer and I want a good one

Price wise not to bothered up to about £500 but I do like a bargain.

I did think about the Canon 4000 but I now see that the 9000 is out which uses more inks

Speed is not important I'm not going to be producing large volumes but quality is

Should I stick with Canon or are there better ones out there.

thanks I do appreciate all you advice All been good so far

Re: Which A3 A3+ printer

i have an HP8750 A3+ and am very happy with it. I am also using a eos300d.

It is pretty quick (for what it is) and I don't think it is too far off its claim of Studio Quality.

I have en Epson R1800 that prints up to A3+. Superb quaility if you use Epson ink and paper.

Re: Which A3 A3+ printer

The HP B9180 is looking good. I'm looking to buy an A3 printer later this year and so far this one is top of my list.

Re: Which A3 A3+ printer

Thanks guys looking like a choice between the epson R2400 and the HP B9180
The hp looks like a beast of a machine I may have to build an extension to house it.

Re: Which A3 A3+ printer

i used to have an epson A3 printer but found it to be a false economy, yes you can get a print out whenever you want but I found i never did that many A3 prints done and after you take into account the cost of the inks generally it was cheaper to just send off via photobox for them if I needed them. Personally I'd plump for a good A4 printer which you'll use more often and for the odd occsion for the big ones get them done online
