a few non fishy pics...
All taken with a canon 300d, with a few different lenses, the macro shots were taken with a 90mm di... other images taken.

Some lovely shots there. I think on some of the macro shots (particularly the spider) you need to stop down further to maximise your depth of field i.e. getting all of your subject in focus, although the flower looks better with a shallower DOF. Does your macro lens go down as far as f/45? When you're that close up you'll find the background still remains out of focus.

thanks, I'll have to have a play, I took that when I first got the lens... its a dedicated macro (not sure if it stops up to that level)..

Thanks, Its getting there, with lots of cash an time... 
It is the bain of my life, but I can't live without my tank... its another one of those EXPENSIVE hobbies...
