Thanks: Gave 342, Got 509 | Blue Reef Aquarium with the nifty fifty.
Since buying the nifty fifty f/1.8 a couple of months ago I hadn't taken more than about 100 shots with it. That was until I visited the Blue Reef aquarium in Portsmouth over the Christmas holidays...
Here's a few of my favorites, all taken at f/1.8 ISO 200.
C&C welcome.

i love visiting aquariums, and fuzed your tank looks great!
I went to colchester zoo over the holidays instead of this place as my gf wanted to test out the tomtom i got her. The zoo was great but... i wish id gone here! great pics here mate, cant help feeling that a smaller aperture would have helped on some shots but i know movement and handshake is a big factor

Ush: yeah more depth of field would have been nice but the light just wasn't there. I could have upped the Iso but noisey fish shots don't really do it for me!

Nice pics. Love aquariums but don't have the time to look after them so I keep admiring other peoples!
Last time I went to Portsmouth it was with the Fuji 602 a few years ago: not a patch on these images. There is another one like this in Bournemouth Im not sure how they compare

Some stunning shots there - I think I need to visit one of these sometime soon. Some of the colours are fantastic.
