New year Sales Nikon D80

Ok,

I am in the market for buying a new D80, I have checked it out and it meets all my needs.

My question to all our UK readers,
Is it likly that this camera will be reduced in price in the new year , such as the January sales.

Has anyone come across this before, as i don't want to buy one now and then find in the new yr its gone down some £50, Thats funds I could use towards a lense etc.

Thanks
Seasons greetings..

Re: New year Sales Nikon D80

I have seen it both ways, before and after better deals.

Just decide on a price that you are willing to pay and go for that. The likes of Jessops will always price match for you on the body of a camera so you can get a good deal if you do that.

Once more if you get it before xmas just think of the fun you can have on xmas day.

There's always a reduction around the corner no matter what you buy. If you keep in that mindset you'd never buy anything.

Well with a little help from others else where, I have now found it at £713 with the excellent 18-135 kit lens.
Got tooooooo go for it.
