| good deal!
Hi,
having spentt he past couple of years playing around with a sony dsc-f717, I decided to take the plunge with a dslr... what a minefield...
giving myself a budget of approx. £600 I was set on the new sony alpha.
Jessops pricematched at £569 but whilst in the store my eyes wandered to the deal they had on the canon 350d, £699 with the standard lens + 55 - 200mm canon lens + battery grip pack, all reduced from £799... decisions...
after saying that the sony was for me, once held I felt rather let down buy the build quality & overall feel compared to the 350d (especially with grip pack).
anyway after a short trip home and more research on the net.. I saw the same deal online for £620.. back to jessops who promptly offered me the deal for £612... bargain.. and now I have a few exrtras to start me on the way of dslr...
I know the 400d is out pretty soon but I feel the 350d will keep me busy for a time.. and at the price...
