Can you change the colour of the cursor in photoshop ?

I often use the rectangular marquee tool for selecting areas for cropping etc and quite often find it very difficult to see the cross-hair cursor on the photo, especially when the background colour is nearly the same as the cursor colour. Is there any way to change the appearance of this cursor ?

Pretty sure that isn't configurable. My marquee crosshair shows white over a dark background and changes to black over a light background. No problems seeing it.

You can turn the crosshair into a solid cross with the Caps Lock key. As long as you have cursor optiosn set to 'Standard' in Edit/Preferences/Cursors.

This will also alow you to change the cursor to show the tool type/brush size

Mine is just a grey colour all of the time
Edit - just tried it again and it's on large areas of water or large areas if green where I get the problem. The larger the original photo the smaller the crosshairs seem to be.

Have you tried changing it in the Windows Control Panel?

Start> Programs>Control Panel>Mouse

Then click on the Pointers tab and change the scheme. I've just tried it on mine and it works.
