My stuff has been used online. Good feeling.

Well, just found out that the images have also been used on a couple of official UK American football websites

http://www.byafa.org/graphics/2006bavtt/bavtt.htm

http://www.byafa.org/graphics/2006bavkent/bavke.htm

Another lot to go up this week which were shot with the 100 - 400L so better again as is my technique with this game as that is one small ball to follow!!!

These are from the British Youth American Football official website so being seen by a lot of people. However, they missed my credit which should be sorted this week.

I have also been approached by a local agency called Unicom who want me to register with them as they wish to get me work locally ranging from soccer, rugby and other local stuff - evidently they like my stuff and me

Pete.

Good on you sir:
Evidently your great images are no fluke!

PS: The images are sharp, colorful, well focused , capture the spirit of the game , great bokeh ( shallow DOF) to emphsise subject... need I go on?
The people who like your stuff simply have an eye for quality
Keep it up

As I mentioned in one of your other threads, it's your sports photography that impresses me most. It looks like I'm not the only one impressed too
Well done Pete, you must be thrilled to bits

Nice one, good to see the quality of your work being recognised

On a side note, I see you are using the 1-400, how do you find it for range shots etc? Am looking to buy one but need a reason to spen the £900 LOL oh and the missus is getting twitchy

Thanks.

Well, the lens is superb. The quality out of this thing is another leap again and it is so sharp right through the range. Colours are superb and the bokeh is far far smoother than lenses I had used before. For me, the push and pull zoom is a good send for sport and it really allows you to pull back on the action as the players approach you, if that makes sense.

Sure it costs, but the outlay is worth it thats for sure. Overall the PP I have to do with this is far less as it is that much better vanilla.

Hope this helps.

Pete.

Well done Pete. Since you took an interest you have wanted to do it as a job so congratulations on the first step with the 'agency' and the publishing of your shots
