May be looking to sell a lens - any interest?

Hi,

I may be looking to move on my Canon 17 - 85 IS USM lens which I have had for about two months. No reason really, but may seek something slightly longer. Would anyone be interested? It cost £420.00 including the hood and is boxed and in superb condition so looking for £350.00 all in.

Just a heads up really as may stick in the classifieds if there was interest.

Pete.

I don't have, but I think the last one in there sold pretty quickly. There are quite a few people that seem to buy Canon stuff that don't hang around here - so worth posting anyway.

and put the link in this thread.

Very good price when you consider that the hood is included. I have this lens and am really pleased with it. The image stability works a treat and the quality of shots you can get from it can be extremely good. For me, the range is excellent although I am on the lookout for a wide angle lens to complement it as most of my shots seem to be at the wider end of the range due to the fact that I love landscape photography. If anyone is thinking of upgrading their kit lens then I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this. Pete, good luck if you do decide to sell

I like it... a lot Certainly not selling mine unless a 5D comes my way
Seriously , for the money it is a very good lens...way better than the kit lens ( and the sigma equivalent thogh it is costlier) With a decent zoom : it may be all the lens( es) one might need till the upgrade ( and L) bug bites
Good luck
