Where to get a Whibal card?

I have had a good search and come up with nothing, has anyone got any links where to get one from?

to get a good white balance, good for 'weddings' and stuff.

ive got a white balancer they gave away free with amateur photographer, never actually see the need for it because i tend to abuse the whitebalance function :D

im not shooting any weddings, been there done that about a year ago now, i think my thread about weddings was linked to in a later thread, my original wedding questions were from febuary last year

Hi Jazz Monkey,

Try lastolite
http://www.lastolite.com/xpobalance.php

or just shoot a white piece of paper or cloth under the lighting condition of the photos you're going to take and use that for reference.

If you shoot Raw you have full controll of WB in post production anyway. So either use a preset for your lighting condition or use Auto. Modern cameras do a good job with WB.

Experement and find what workflow is best for you.

Thanks for the advice, I shoot in RAW anyway but I am only just learning about levels and using RAW, is there an easy way to tell the white balance is correct from the RGB levels?
I have got a friends wedding coming up in July and wanted to get some really good candid shots.

I bought my Whibal direct from their website. At the time there was an offer on the postage (picked up from a sticky on their website) so it arrived pretty quickly.

There are other 'cards' out there, ie Expodisc or WarmCards from Warehousexpress.

The Expodisc is a pricey option (especially if you have to have more than one thread size) but a mate uses it and swears by it.

I have ordered one from their website - I didn't realise they shipped internationally.

Not from the full levels histogram. If you could isolate the neutral tones then you could. Or just use your I dropper tool (sample tool) over parts of the image you know to be neutral. your R G and B values should be equal for a neutral picture.

No easy way!

But your software may be able to do the above if it has auto white balance correction.
