Just wondering if anyone would know where I could get a decently priced second hand Canon 300D!

any particular reason? Not sure you'd get one for much less than a used 350d, and the 350d has a few features that are worthwhile (or you could hack the 300d but a bit of a hassle?)
eg the 300d doesn't have AI servo focussing, and a couple of other things are missing too

Yeah I know exactly what you mean! I am looking it for my dad, ideally with the kit lens! Its really to keep the cost to a minimum, but if I was to find a 350D for the same price I might consider! The problem is the "big hands syndrome"!

I'd be happy to sell mine with kit lens and battery grip but I'm only coming to the UK end June when I could bring it.

big hands isn't a problem. Get the 300/350d (try for the 350d first), and if your dad finds it too small, you can get the grip for it.

Anyway, its supposed to give you most of the 350d functionality in the 300d

Search Google for Wasia or Undutchables, my 300 is hacked with the Undutchables firmware and its very easy no hassle at all
