Question Sony Memory Stick - Help please!

Hi Folks,

I'm sorry to trouble you folks, but I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to help me out - on behalf of my Mum.

My Mum has a Sony DSC-P200 Digital Still Camera. She also has a Sony MagicGate 32mb (Blue) Memory Stick. However, she and my Dad, are off on holiday in just over 7 days time. My Mum urgently wants to get a 512mb Memory Stick, but is uncertain of which sticks are compatible. Would one of you please be kind enough to let us know what she (I) need to look for.

Are any of the Sony 512mb sticks shown here suitable for the job? (I'm sure the rectangular-shaped ones will work fine, but am not 100% certain, and don't want to purchasse one online in case it is incompatible.)

She and I have already tried several photo and electronic stores in Norwich, to see if we can find a compatible Memory Stick, but to no avail - mainly because stores didn't have any in-stock, or weren't sure of the compatability - hence, my request to you guys.

A speedy response, and any/all infomation would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Everyone!

you will be ok with any standard size memory stick pro upto 1gb, AFIK there is no real diffrence between the black & pinkish/brown onw when used in a digicam.

so the first one will be fine.

I use a Memory Stick Pro (not DUO) with my camera. It has a faster write speed to a standard Memory Stick.

I woudl go for the £35.25 one as that is the cheapest.

I paid just £20 for a 512MB one of ebay but there is no guarantee you will get it in 7 days.
