Jpeg Images - Resolution / Size

Is there an easy or automated way I can change the resolution & size of a load of JPEG images which have originated from a digital camera?

I wanted to 'batch' process many files. Ideally looking for a cheap or free peice of software.

Try typing in Batch image resizer into your search engine theres a few available, dont know if there all free though.
