If my Duxford pictures all come out bad Sunday at least I can blame the lens being new to me

Set IS to mode 2 and your sorted. I always set ex comp +1/3 or +2/3 for aircraft against the sky...don't forget to put it back to 0 for on the ground..I always seem to forget...

Anyone guess the aircraft close up...

Can't see me getting near the fence if you have to get there that early (8.30!) for a 1pm start show! I'll be doing well if I get there by 11.30 .

Just running through the excuses for not getting the shot.....

Just behind the fence where I suggest is a grassy bank....'The Tank Bank' Another good (popular) spot..

Just in case you havn't left yet.......

Weather forcast is grey/dull/heavy showers..

Extremely poor for airshow pictures. You might get some good stuff on the ground, but anyting in the air is gonna be tricky.....
