Bit slow here today!.. never mind, here's a flower!!



I know, I know... but I was a bit bored so I decided to post it anyway

Since I havn't had the camera long I was out in the garden yesterday (in the brief moment of good weather) practicing with all the settings, and managed to come up with this.

This is my first time posting a pic so let me know what you think

I have been messing around trying some close up shots for this months competition and getting nowhere near that! Mind you, it is a Canon A95 as opposed to a 350D.

My shopping list is getting ever longer, Lorna won't stand for it i'm sure

I'm still trying to learn my way around Rawshooter Essentials, and Photoshop CS2... not to mention trying to get thing's like exposure and sharpening right. The joys of digital photography eh?!?

I'ev noticed one of my garden photos from last week has an unexpected creature in it. I was supposed to be photographing the water lillies but some hungry lad got in on the act
