another daft question..?

I've got a canon powershot g5 and I've recently bought some filters which I'm happy with...now the filters came with an adapter for the camera that allows the 52mm filters to fit...

now comes the daft part - would it be possible to fit another lense in the same screw mount..? - even tho there is the existing lense..?

if that makes sense...!

I would think so.

My Oly c5050 has a mounting sleeve thing that takes filters or add on lenses. There is a 2x tele convertor and a 0.7x wide convertor available.

I have the wide lens. The Oly lens is exceptional in being huge (like 4" diameter) and not losing any f stop. It is also very low distortion. Other wide adaptor were truly awful for distortion.
